Miss Alison

Miss Alison accredits her early training with North Central Civic Ballet. During her summers in high school, she trained with American Ballet Theatre, the Joffrey Ballet, and the Orlando Ballet on scholarship. She is an alumni from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Dance. She was a recipient of a dance scholarship during her time at Sam Houston, which reflected her classical training. She performed in works choreographed by Dana Nicolay, Jennifer Pontius, and Jonathon Charles; guest artists’ Charlotte Boye-Christensen and Sandra Organ. In 2010, she received SHSU’s choreography award, and presented her work at ACDFA. Alison is in her second season as a professional modern dancer for Muscle Memory Dance Theatre. She also works as a dance instructor and continues inspiring others to support the arts.


Miss Amanda
Miss Amanda began dancing in local dance programs as a young child. She continued dancing and cheering as she got older, and performed as a member of the Emerald Dazzlers dance team. With the Emerald Dazzlers, Amanda had the opportunity to perform on a carnival cruise, and take classes at the Broadway Dance Center in NYC. She worked as a performer at Six Flags Over Texas, and was a member of the Fort Worth Brahmas Dance team. In college, Amanda performed with the Northwest Dance Company, as well as the Mosaic touring company. Amanda and her husband Joel are blessed to be the proud parents of their daughter Haven.


Miss Jill
Miss Jill is a wife and mother who has been dancing for over 20 years. Trained in jazz, ballet, modern and lyrical dance styles, she continued her training at the University of North Texas. Her dance teaching career began at the age of 16 as a studio assistant. She has choreographed and directed numerous productions for Six Flags Over Texas as well as other venues throughout DFW. Miss Jill continues to perform and teach as often as possible, often lending her time as a volunteer choreographing fashion shows, elementary age drill teams and local talent shows.


Miss Nellie
Miss Nellie has been a dance teacher and studio owner in the area for many years. She began her dance training at the age of two. She has extensive professional dance training in Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Drill Team, and Clogging. In High school she was on drill team for three years and served as Jr. Lieutenant and Sr. Captain. She won overall high scores at regional and national competitions as a soloist for self choreographed pieces. She attended UNT as a dance major, and was a UNT Dancer for two years. She was also a member in the Mosaic dance Project. Nellie was also casted as a dancer in the ABC Family movie “She Gets What She Wants”. She has continued her dance education with training from master teachers such as Joe Tremaine, Doug Caldwell, Mia Michaels, Dave carter, Dave Scott, and Tyce Diorio to name a few. Nellie has won several choreography awards and entertainment awards at local and national level competitions for her dance groups. Nellie has a true passion for dance, choreography, and teaching dance.


Miss Sarah
Miss Sarah holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Sam Houston State University. Through out college, she taught ballet from creative movement to advanced classes. She has relocated back to Texas from New York City & is very excited to be teaching again. Sarah will be pursing a second degree in pediatric nursing. She strongly believes in inspiring children and helping them become the version of themselves!
