Celina began dancing and performing at a young age. Growing up, she was either involved in dance, cheerleading or performing in her school’s musical theater productions. Celina holds a BBM with a Concentration in Small Business and Entrepreneurship from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Her desire and interest in business as well as dance lead her to establish her company, Twirl and Tap in 2004 while attaining her degree. She ran Twirl and Tap – a preschool mobile dance company for 13 years in San Antonio. In August of 2017, she made the decision to become a part of something bigger and joined the WEBBY Dance Company family. Celina believes that providing a foundation for her dancers to be active will encourage them to pursue a healthy lifestyle as they grow. Whether she is teaching a WEBBY dance class or instructing at Pure Barre, it is unmistakable that she is in the business of improving people’s lives through enjoyable activities. When Celina is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her soon to be husband, Lorenzo. They like to watch Texas Longhorn sports, travel and love spoiling their pets. Celina and Lorenzo are currently planning their wedding for this upcoming New Year’s Eve. They are both extremely excited for this new endeavor and cannot wait to introduce WEBBY to Celina’s current students as well as new ones.
